About Jake Lim Jing Kiat, RFP

Jake is a passionate and enthusiastic licensed financial planner & financial adviser representative with the goal of helping Malaysians improve their financial planning skills. He grew up in Bahau, a small town in Negeri Sembilan. In his early years, he was deeply influenced by his mother’s career as a unit trust consultant. He is always fascinated by how the financial market works. His curiosity led him to pursue a degree in Financial Economics at the University Tunku Abdul Rahman.

Upon graduation, he was hired by RHB Investment Bank for equity and derivatives dealing. In 2015, he was named one of the nation’s top 50 brokers. As Jake progressed in his career, he acquired new skills by switching to AIA Bhd as an insurance trainer. He had successfully trained hundreds of insurance agents in insurance planning for their clients. In 2019, Jake received RFP – Best Student Year 2019 by Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC).

In addition to having experience in both insurance and investment, Jake joins Alpine Advisory to pursue a career as a licensed financial planner & financial adviser representative. It is his goal to solve every client’s needs with his unbiased advice and the best recommendations.
